i can only presume the christmas eve party is on

Matthew

Posted from 86.132.252.217

By popular demand the New Year's Eve party is on!

Talking of parties

Posted from 194.74.0.10

I'm coming home on christmas eve, so if the Mann party is then and I am invited I should make it. And we will have to squeeze in a serious risk/settlers/feta night (or two...or three) between christmas and new year.

Crawley party?

Posted from 194.74.0.10

(Hello Ye!)

What's this Crawley party then? Is it the big Mayer new year's eve bash? If it's back on this year after last year's sad absence I will do a little jig of joy. Or is it another party?

A352 from Wareham, then into town on the A353. That takes you along the seafront for a bit. Turn right at the mini roundabout (signposted Portland etc). Second exit at the next roundabout, over a bridge, then turn right at the following roundabout. First exit, sharp left, at the next roundabout, then you want the first road on the left. Turn left at the end and it's on the right, the one with the tractor! Should be able to see the route on the map above.

Re snow, i am very annoyed, it snowed enough to close the road from dorchester to bridport, dorchester is only 8 miles from here and yet we got about two flakes. So don't mention it. A little lying in Somerset this morning, but not enough to get excited about. But it's only november, patience all...

oh dear

re the front page of the website

what is this except a place of worship for all things mayer?

i think

Posted from 194.74.0.10

that in your advanced years you would find it very hard to match the beauty of the prose...the way the story moves seamlessly from one scene to another...

oh happy day

Posted from 88.107.53.91

oh glorious day...

surely the time has come to continue to story...?

But the clever boy thought that if he made a machine that froze time he would only have to wait 10 centuries before the other people caught up.But then he thought that he would be dead when they caught up.

is friedrich nietzsche's mobile number the same as it was last time he was a resident of this fine land? is there any reason why he in particular wished me a happy birthday?

he should come down in one of the next two weekends, preferably next weekend so I don't miss a big terras match...(against bognor)

Weekends probably better since I could come by car, and presumably you're not on duty.

Matthew

Posted from 86.133.176.108

Sounds good. Am doing a bit of private maths tuition for cash, but otherwise free.

better still

Posted from 194.74.0.10

Seeing as you're not working till christmas(?), deliver it personally in the next few weeks. You've travelled far enough for weymouth to be a mere afternoon hop. I'll show you a bittern, and how to photograph it(!)

Posted from 163.1.210.165

protesters are here today, which is thursday, and not wednesday, as any fool can see...

And I mean ANYONE, feel free, I am a little lacking in entertainments at the weekends/evenings. However wonderful this place is, there's only so many solo seaside walks you can do. We have a spare bunk-bedded room.

a thought

Posted from 194.74.0.10

Perhaps "those stale bread rings" might be found throughout eastern europe?

I may soon have internet access at home. For now I'm just sneaking on with someone else's account.

I fell into a ditch yesterday. Up to my neck. Bit of a highlight.

Stale?

Posted from 163.1.210.165

your moaning is stale. (no reason)
