Thanks; no problem; last time we queued but this time have found various internet firms who do it and the cost is not high when you weigh up going to london ( twice); its just i'm a bit paranoid about letting anyone have my passport. i always want to be able to make a quick getaway; hence have to live near gatwick

R

Posted from 79.74.144.153

Actually it was someone who came up to me in the queue at the embassy, which may not be the most rational choice. I don't remember the name I'm afraid but they worked out of an opticians on the strand. I can't find them with a google search but you could check out the queue if you're going to London. I think they charge £20.

Richard: when you went to china i believe you got your visa through a firm rather than going up to london yourself. Was that okay and can you remember name of firm?

Andy, I will call tonight to try and sort out somewhere to stay in Liechtenstein. It occurs to me as I write this that if we could consistently spell Lichtenstein (hoho) it would be high in the meme pool

a bagging triumph

Posted from 84.92.211.193

but I can't believe they even let someone as subversive as you across the border...

Matthew

Posted from 58.41.202.52

And despite reviewing all 483 of my photos one-by-one, the border guard decided not to delete any of them!

Matthew

Posted from 58.41.202.52

Well despite the worst floods in 30 years, our bus sliding off the road into a ditch, food poisoning of the whole group, constant surveillance and total communications blackout, it was an amazing trip :) Photos to follow... (I have lots)

R

But it seems a bit sad to go all NK for your 43rd

R

Posted from 79.74.144.153

Not so bad, I feared more than 1 country

aha!

Posted from 84.92.211.193

looking forward to the censored photos...

Matthew

Posted from 61.51.194.189

Bagged!

R

Posted from 79.74.144.153

Surely not, that would be in poor taste, NK is clearly a 50th country destination. I reckon either SK or Thai, Cam and Laos. (At this point I start gnawing on my lip in frustration). Shall I go peak bagging again tomorrow? About a 70 mile round trip to the Berkshire peak

radio silence

Finland (2) must go

R

Posted from 79.65.220.10

I will put up some competition

My finnish photos are not great

Posted from 84.92.211.193

But it is competing with a dark cow...

R

Posted from 79.65.220.10

do you make your photos intentionally awful?

And

Posted from 84.92.211.193

Because I'm not convinced about the Finnish picture, I think the photo I've added is worth putting up for the public vote...

AUS/SING

I think your lithuanian picture is boring.

Matthew

Posted from 58.41.109.58

Can you email me the full versions of Aus and Sing, I'll try reuploading them

R

Posted from 129.67.94.158

I vote no to Estonia and Lithuania, I abstain pending Matthews vote on Latvia. Incidentally there is something wrong with Aus and Sing if you try to enlarge them

After careful consideration

Posted from 84.92.211.193

I have made my casting votes. I have also added some wonderful scanned images of Luxembourg, Singapore and Australia. Croatia will have to wait until we go to Liechtenstein.

I would also like to invite your votes on my contributions for the baltic countries. I think they're better than the ones already there, obviously!
