China tips from Wang Jian Shuo
http://home.wangjianshuo.com/archives/20060830_7_tips_to_travel_to_china_this_quarter.htm
From the we're-too-cheap-to-buy-stock-photography department
Dear Mr. Mayer,
We are freelance designers based in Delhi and are currently working on a report of the EcoCity Project of the Government of India, which is being implemented in five towns around the country. This is a project for environment conservation and urban regeneration of the towns.
One of those covered is Tirupati, and we need some good visuals of the town and its ambience. We saw your website and found some very useful and illustrative images of Tirupati and Tirumala. We would like to request for permission to use some of the visuals you have uploaded on the site.
We are in a bit of a rush to complete the publication and would be grateful if you could get back on this as early as possible.
Thanking you
With best regards
Oh dear, the temperature in Crawley appears to be N/A degrees Celcius

the new show of hands, i assume you want it if you don't already have it...
all the RT you have
tift merret
julie fowlis
i'm not sure about the ol' los abajos thing
i don't need reminders to do copying, i just need motivation
(and could this possibly act as a reminder to you to do a little copying?!)
not entirely sure what you've already had, but, in alphabetical order:
broken family band - cold water songs/welcome home, loser
emmylou - very best of
julie fowlis - 'album with a gaelic name'
los de abajo - lda vs the lunatics
nickel creek - why should the fire die?
richard thompson - whatever you like really, old compilation, new compilation, various albums
tift merritt - tambourine
tom russell - borderland/love and fear
hopefully this one will not develop all the 'interesting' contours of the one at home
With the slow fascination of fear, he lifted himself on one arm and
turned his eyes toward the blood-curdling blackness of the window.
Through it shone the Stars!
Not bad, Cuba is wrong; Canada gets three (Baffin, Victoria, Ellsmere) and the main Japanese island is of course called Honshu.
www.megatrain.com - budget trains from london ro weymouth! already here!
but if you're defining them as 'normal', off the top of my head,
greenland
cuba
one or two of the canadian ones, baffin island, queen something island?
borneo
new guinea
sumatra
britain
madagascar
the main japanese island
Several of those are definitely wrong...
He's a 1337 hAxOr richard has employed to try to break the world record.
øøøøøøøøøøøøøøøøh!
In other news, Richard and Nicholas Wu almost break the BMN world record, and our motley team of one Brit, two Americans, one German and one Chinese nab second place (and free t-shirts) in the British Bulldog pub quiz!
GREETINGS to TOC from Sweden
(Malmø, over impressive new bridge from Copenhagen!)
1, 3, 5, 6, 8
offerings from this end will take rather longer as I am relying on amazon and the royal mail...
what I have
1. Teddy - seperate ways
2. Richard - life and music box set
3. Croft No. 5 - Talk of the future
4. Rodrigo y gabriela
5. Ezio - Higher
6. John Butler - Sunrise over sea
7. Fairport Convention - what we did on our holidays
8. Johnny D - English Summer
9. Kate Rusby - The girl who couldn't fly
order now, receive at an indeterminant point in the future. I don't recommend the box set, quality is pretty poor, all random live stuff
Do you think the new biometric chips will survive being left in a puddle in a Scandinavian campsite?
Passports are going down in quality if you ask me, my latest one is only 2.5 years old and the entire gold embossing on the front has worn away, so now I appear to not have any nationality...
